I originally did my training at the London College of Fashion and on finishing my studying was employed by the B.B.C. Costume Department. I have worked for leading London couture houses and worked freelance to Bridal for the last 12 years and I have over 30 years’ experience designing.

Can you tell me about Qiana Bridal:

Qiana was originally launched in the 1990s and for over 10 years we provided exquisite, tailored clothing for HM The Queen and stars that are Dames and Knights of the British empire including tailoring clothing for Dame Judi Dench, Sir Tom Jones, the Spice Girls, Daniel Craig and Ruby Wax amongst others. Qiana still continue working for its original core market the TV and film business including ITV show ‘Mr Selfridge’ and BBC drama ‘Luther’.

Qiana was reformed in 2012 was separated into two divisions with the launch of Qiana Bridal which now serves an entirely new market, but having designed and made many bespoke Bridal dresses during the past 20 years Qiana Bridal officially launched in 2012 with their first collection.

What do you offer brides:

Qiana Bridal luxurious Classic Rose Collection consists of 16 bridal gowns which are designed to make the bride feel beautiful, glamorous and romantic on her big day. Each of the gowns has been named after Roses so it carries a touch of nostalgia, yet remains firmly in the 21^st Century in terms of spirit and design. The dresse are called ‘Athena’, ‘Ballerina’, ‘Bella Rosa’, ’Champagne Cocktail’, ‘Darcey’, ‘Dreamtime’,  ’Lilliana’, ‘Megan Louise’, ‘Paradise’, ‘ Ribbon Rose’, ‘Ripples’, ‘Serenity’, ‘Sunset Song’, ’Sweet Sonata’ and ‘Tiffany’.

There is an option for cash contributions for people to contribute to the overall cost of the honeymoon as well as a selection of pre-loaded ideas from Turquoise relating to the region and accommodation they are staying in whilst away. Couples can upload photos and send thank you cards direct from the website and also keep a running list of all the gifts they have received. We can also send out complimentary gift list cards with all the gift list instructions for honeymooners to send out to all their guests.
